Angling University

The Flyfisher's Angling University is Denver's only professional fly fishing school. We offer fly fshing classes and lessons in all aspects of angling both in person and through online course packages. The school is directed by Ethan Emery and is partnered with Trout's Fly Fishing. We offer a curriculum for anglers of all ages and experience levels. We tailor instruction and training to fit all your needs. A 'build-your-own' format allows for total customization of any fly fishing topic. Whether it's teaching children to fish, learning to dry fly fish, mastering the art of casting in saltwater, learning to tie your own flies or building or repairing rods we have the instructors and classes for you. Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club

Lincoln Hills, our home water on South Boulder Creek, has what many experts believe is the best fly fishing in Colorado. Complementing nearly two miles of private river is 5-acre Pactolus Lake and three spring fed ponds with crystal clear waters. It's located just 45 minutes from downtown Denver. Boulder River Ranch is downstream from Lincoln Hills. The river is complimented with 5 ponds filled with trout. Blue Heron Farm is on the St. Vrain River, the waters are teaming with fish. Blue Heron Lake compliments the river; a superb warm water fishery. Made famous as the home water of the author of "Sex, Death and Fly Fishing", Williams Ranch is located just above the town of Lyons, on the South Fork of the St. Vrain River. Situated in a flagstone valley, the river rolls through cottonwoods and highlights some of the best dry fly water on the drainage. Flyfisher Signature Properties is a new division of The Flyfisher Group with the concentration on real estate property acquisition and representation. Flyfisher Signature Properties will list & broker signature fly fishing properties across the US and parts of the world. In addition, Flyfisher Signature Properties will unveil our newest efforts in stream preservation, land restoration, scientific & biological testing and overall eco-system conservation. This environmental certification will become the standard practice and our longstanding trademark.

Angling Aquatics

When we started the ambitious strategy to obtain and resurrect fly fishing preserves across the state, we knew that extraordinary efforts would be necessary to actually make a difference. We completed our inaugural season with the finalization of one of the largest enhancement projects ever done on South Boulder Creek and continue to develop that fishery into one of the finest on Colorado's Front Range. We've transformed an old mining locale into a pristine, flourishing vegetative sanctuary and have renewed its bionetwork and natural fish & wildlife cycles. By administering extreme methods of restoration, through scientific/biological testing & treatments, we have now established Angling Aquatics into an industry-leading, contractible environmental rehabilitation service that can be implemented on all future properties and used as a model to set a new precedent. Lincoln Hills Cares

The Flyfisher Group understands that with great success comes great responsibility. We have always been directly involved in our surrounding communities and their residents — both urban and rural — and make great efforts each year to contribute more to the development and support of them; especially to the advancement of our young people. In the past few years, we have made great strides in providing uplifting opportunities to central Colorado youth through our Habitat Restoration Corps — a non-profit eco-conscious program with the key renewal functions of river/stream/lake clean-up & restoration, vegetation monitoring, habitat assessment, foliage placement/survey/control, water/shore quality control, site maintenance, environmental education, fire mitigation, preservation of natural resources and overall ecosystem revitalization. In addition, we've created scholarships for students excelling in our program. We're also involved in local charities and auctions to benefit causes, plights and organizations. For Us Guides By Us Guide (FUGBUG) is a manufacturing company with the specific mission on making quality affordable gear for anglers. At FUGBUG's core is the belief that we become better angler by teaching for people to fish and sharing with them our love of the sport.
